Courtney Treglia is an artist and writer born and raised in New York. Spending half of her time in Rochester developed her love of nature and the other half living near New York City imbued her with a tenacity for opportunity. Growing up in a family that encouraged the arts and writing, the two became interchangeable to her. They have since become the bedrock of her advocacy that the arts are necessary for mental health and building a more empathetic world.

Grief changes us like a mutation.

Will you let it consume you or will you grow through the pain?

Courtney Treglia was confronted by the traumatic loss of her father on the eve of her 28th birthday followed shortly by the COVID19 global pandemic. While traversing the apocalyptically abandoned New York City to work as an artist, Lost Objects & Found Memories tells a story over a series of poems of how life and death are forever intertwined through this journey of loss and mental health that ultimately leads to acceptance and self-love.
