Rachelle Wolf was born May 3rd, 1995 in Perm, Russia and adopted by an American family. She has lived in several states growing up, including Nebraska, Missouri, West Virginia, and for a brief time in Idaho attending college before taking a job with Xanterra and working in Death Valley, CA and Yellowstone National Park for two years. Her time in Death Valley is where she got most of her research material for the desert scenes. She currently resides in Nebraska as she works on the sequel to Where the Stars Take Us Volume 1.
Threads of Fate
In the Sabij Desert, where Djinn demons, mortals, and even the Gods reside, come two unlikely allies. Jaspen, a half Djinn, called a Raksheesh in their tongue, fights hard to rise above the status given to him while overcoming prejudice and trying to learn more about the secrets of his birth.
Hassan, a decorated general in the tribe of Shemesh, that through no wrongdoing of his own, has become a thorn in the King’s side for knowing about a secret he doesn’t want to get out and is also the adopted uncle of Jaspen.
Through their circumstances that bring them unwillingly together, can this unlikely duo rise above the secrets of the hierarchy and the past to become the pawns in the Gods’ hands?
